the green ace is an all season, 2 bedroom / 1 bathroom A-frame cabin nestled up against the national forest in the Lower Moonridge neighborhood of Big Bear Lake.
The house comfortably sleeps 5 (upstairs master has a queen bed, downstairs bedroom has a queen + a twin).
With a recently remodeled interior and large wrap around deck, it’s ready for a perfect mountain getaway. Fully equipped kitchen has everything you’ll need to indulge your inner chef or provide a base to bring in take out before indulging in s’mores post cheese and crackers.
Build a roaring fire and enjoy Netflix or an enormous DVD library, a fully loaded Wii system, board games, art projects, and puzzles. Lightning fast mesh WiFi will connect you to devices/internet as needed (or not).
Just out the back door are hiking and biking trails, rolling hills for sledding (sleds provided), and hammocks for snoozing under the pines. In addition to trails, the woods outside the back door beckon with forest zip line swings, cut log see-saws, hollowed out trees to explore and bench swings waiting to be discovered.
The Green Ace is walking distance to Bear Mountain Ski Resort (with a free shuttle to Snow Summit), the Alpine Zoo and the Moonridge golf course. It is a short bike ride away from the pedal path, the Stanfield Cutoff side of the Lake and a short drive to the village shops and restaurants.
Driveway accommodates 3 cars in summer and 2 cars in winter.

*Highway 330 through Running Springs is the most common, and often quickest way up the mountain. However, during busy winter weekends we suggest taking either Highway 38 through Redlands or Highway 18 (east entrance) via I-15 through Victorville / Lucerne Valley.
